This film focuses on the battle experience of the 38th Army of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army who participated in the Korean War from beginning to end. It tells the story of the rise and fall of this prestigious army, who was called "the main force of the birds" by commander Peng Dehuai because he missed his plane when he first entered the first war in Korea, and later was called "Long live Army" by him, Reproducing the thrilling process of the Communist Party leader commanding the Volunteer Army in the 1950s, which shook the world and turned the situation around in one fell swoop.
