Vincenzo Filippo graduated in Production from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome (2013–2015) and began his career as a Production Assistant on Anime Nere (2014) by Francesco Munzi. From 2015 to 2018, he worked at Lupin Film, first as Assistant to Producer Riccardo Neri and later as Production Manager, supervising projects such as the docu-film Ombre della Sera by Valentina Esposito, The Elevator by Massimo Coglitore, and numerous TV commercials for national and international clients.
In 2016, he pursued further studies, earning a Master’s degree in Economics, Communication and Media Management from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Two years later, he moved to Milan to work as an Account Executive at the advertising agency The Integer Group, managing campaigns for brands such as Sky Italia, Starbucks (Percassi), SISAL, and Nestlé.
In 2019, Vincenzo returned to Lupin Film as Associate Producer, overseeing Open Door by Florenc Papas, an Albanian-Macedonian-Kosovar co-production. The film premiered in competition at the Sarajevo Film Festival and was selected as Albania’s official entry for the 2021 Academy Awards.
He went on to produce Tria – del sentimento del tradire (2022) by Giulia Grandinetti, which premiered at the 79th Venice Film Festival, and Luna Park (2023) by Florenc Papas, co-produced with On Film Production (AL), Argonauts (GR), and Studio Corvus (HR). In the same year, he was selected for Torino Film Lab’s Up & Coming Italia program.
As an external consultant, Vincenzo worked as Clearance Coordinator with Fremantle Media Italia on Paolo Sorrentino’s È stata la mano di Dio (2021) and with Fandango S.p.A. on the Netflix series La vita bugiarda degli adulti (2022).
Since January 2023, he has been a member of the European Film Academy.
